Privacy policy
Short and to the point: what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what you can do about it.
1. Who controls your data
The controller of your personal data is go4layout sp. z o.o., registered in Gdynia, Poland, at ul. Żołnierzy I Armii Wojska Polskiego 10 lok. B6, 81-383 Gdynia, VAT ID (NIP) 586-243-08-47, company register (KRS) 0001244569. For data matters write to go4layout@go4layout.com.
2. What we collect
- Contact details — name, e-mail address, company name and the content of messages you send us by e-mail or through the form on this site.
- Files sent for a quote or a project — documents, artwork and source material you entrust to us. These may contain personal data if it appears in the document.
- Billing details — data required to issue an invoice if we work together.
This site collects nothing automatically: no cookies, no analytics, no marketing pixels, no externally hosted fonts. Standard server logs are kept by our hosting provider.
3. Why, and on what legal basis
- Answering your enquiry and preparing a quote — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before entering a contract).
- Delivering the project — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Handling correspondence and enquiries not directly related to concluding a contract — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest).
- Accounting and tax obligations — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Establishing or defending legal claims — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest).
4. How long we keep it
Correspondence that does not lead to a project is deleted after 12 months. Accounting records are kept for 5 years from the end of the tax year, as required by law. Client source files are deleted after the project and its warranty period, unless we agree otherwise.
5. Who else sees the data
Our hosting and e-mail provider (servers in Poland), the cloud services we use to deliver projects and to run the contact form, our accountants and — only to the extent needed to deliver your project — trusted subcontractors bound by confidentiality. We never sell data.
Some of our providers, and some of the services through which clients send us files, are based outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the transfer takes place on the basis of a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to data portability. Just write to go4layout@go4layout.com — we respond to requests within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
7. Confidentiality of your files
We treat every file you send us as confidential. We use it only to deliver your project, and we are happy to sign a separate NDA on request.
